Delicious Simple Trifle

A very good friend of my from twitter her name is Brissiegirl said I could share this dish with you and don't worry if your trying to drop the kilos just use all low fat stuff if you can. Thank you for letting me share this Brissiegirl

Ingredients:

1 x 85 g pkt Raspberry flavoured jelly crystals ( i use Port Wine)
1 x 350g pkt lamington fingers
1 x 100g pkt chocolate instant pudding mix
2  & 1/3 Cups of Milk
1 x 300mL carton thickened cream
1/4 cup icing sugar mixture
2 x 55g Cherry ripe chocolate bars, finely chopped

Method
1. Make raspberry jelly according to the instructions on packet; pour into a shallow sih.  Cover, refrigerate for about 20 minutes, or until jelly is almost set
2. Arrange lamington fingers over base of serving dish (12-cup capacity).  Pour jelly over lamingtons.  Cover; refrigerate for 30 minutes or until jelly is set.
3. Beat chocolate pudding mix and milk in a large bowl with an electric mixer, for about 5 minutes, or until smooth.  Cover; refrigerate for 15 minutes.  Spread evenly over jelly.
4. Beat cream and icing-sugar mixture in a small bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form; spread evenly over pudding layer.  Cover, refrigerate overnight.
5. Serve trifle topped with chopped Cherry Ripe bars.

(I don't bother adding the icing-sugar mixture with the cream, I just put the cream on top.  And you can make it all in one day, I don't think it needs overnight to set).

Enjoy!
